Ground Transport: Refers to the movement of people or goods on land, typically using vehicles such as cars, buses, trucks, or trains.

Fleet: A collection of vehicles owned or operated by a ground transport company. It includes cars, vans, buses, trucks, or any other vehicles used for transportation.

Dispatch: The process of assigning and coordinating drivers and vehicles for specific trips or routes. Dispatchers manage schedules, track vehicles, and communicate with drivers.

Driver: An individual responsible for operating a vehicle and transporting passengers or goods. Drivers may be employed directly by a ground transport company or work as independent contractors.

Passenger Transportation: The service of transporting passengers from one location to another using ground vehicles. It includes services like taxis, ride-hailing, shuttles, or public transportation.

Date of Service – it is the date on which a product is delivered or a service is provided to a customer.

Shuttle Service: A transportation service that operates on specific routes, usually between fixed locations like airports, hotels, or event venues. Shuttles follow a predetermined schedule and transport multiple passengers.

Chauffeur Service: A premium ground transport service that provides professional drivers (chauffeurs) to transport clients in high-end vehicles. It offers a luxury experience and is commonly used for business or special occasions.

2. Mrstransfer.com service description:

Our ground transportation service is designed to provide convenient, reliable, and comfortable transportation solutions for individuals and businesses. Whether you need a ride to the airport, transportation for a corporate event, or a shuttle service for a large group, we have you covered.

Our fleet consists of a wide range of vehicles, including sedans, SUVs, vans, buses, and luxury vehicles, ensuring that we can accommodate your specific needs. All our vehicles are well-maintained, clean, and equipped with modern amenities to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable journey.

Our professional drivers are highly trained, courteous, and experienced. They prioritize your safety and strive to provide the highest level of customer service. They are familiar with the local area and are committed to getting you to your destination on time, taking the most efficient routes.

We offer various services to cater to different transportation needs:

  • Airport Transfers: We provide reliable transportation to and from airports, ensuring that you reach your flight or arrive at your destination without any hassle. Our drivers track flight schedules to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs.
  • Corporate Transportation: For business travelers, we offer professional ground transportation services to corporate events, meetings, conferences, or client visits. Our vehicles provide a comfortable and productive environment, allowing you to work on the go.
  • Point-to-Point Transfers: Whether you need transportation for a special occasion, a night out in town, or a quick trip to a specific destination, our point-to-point transfers are an ideal choice. We ensure a smooth and efficient journey, tailored to your schedule.
  • Shuttle Services: We provide shuttle services for group transportation needs, such as conventions, weddings, tours, or corporate outings. Our spacious vehicles can accommodate large groups, ensuring everyone travels together comfortably and safely.

3. Booking and Payment:

Reservations for Transportation Services may be made electronically through mrstransfer.com website or by email info@mrstransfer.com

The reservation is subject to change by MRS Transfer or the customer until it is confirmed in writing by email from MRS Transfer and the customer has made the full payment.

While booking via the internet, if your spam blocker is active, please note that MRS Transfer is not liable for any lost or undelivered reservation confirmations. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure receipt of a confirmation email by calling and requesting one.

For reservations scheduled more than thirty (30) days in advance, a minimum deposit of twenty (20) percent is required. The specific deposit amount will be confirmed by MRS Transfer at the time of reservation. Reservations made within thirty (30) days of the Date of Service will require a deposit equal to the full estimated cost of the Transportation Services.

Payment of the full Estimated Cost is due no later than two weeks (14 days) prior to the Date of Service.

  • The payment for MRS Transfer services can be made with a bank transfer. Please note – we do not accept bank transfers for the services that are to take place sooner than two weeks after the reservation is made.
  • Credit card payment via secure payment link (we charge extra 3 % for credit card payments due to transaction fees).

Invoices are tailored to the preferred payment method indicated by the customer during the reservation process. It is the customer’s responsibility to specify the desired form of payment. To facilitate invoice preparation, the customer must provide the following details: company legal name, legal address, and VAT/registration number (if applicable).

MRS Transfer will not sell, purchase, provide, exchange or in any other manner disclose Account or Transaction data or personal information of or about a Cardholder to anyone, except it’s Acquirer, Visa/Mastercard Corporations or in response to valid government demands.

In the event that the Client does not make timely payments for deposits, estimated costs, or any other outstanding amounts owed to MRS Transfer as per the agreed terms, MRS Transfer reserves the right to cancel the customer’s reservation at its sole discretion. In such cases, appropriate cancellation charges will be applied.

In the event that the client wishes to modify or cancel an existing booking and transfer the paid deposit or full amount to alternative dates or services, they may do so with confirmation from an MRS Transfer representative. However, it should be noted that MRS Transfer cannot guarantee that the new service can be provided at the same cost or without additional charges.

Kindly be aware that our availability is limited and bookings are filling up rapidly. This offer remains valid for a maximum of 3 days. Bus reservations are secured and reserved only upon receipt of full payment or a 20% deposit. Rates and vehicle availability are subject to confirmation at the time of invoicing and will be finalized upon receipt of payment.

4. Pricing and Rates:

Fare Calculation: The fare for our ground transportation services is calculated based on various factors, including distance traveled, duration of the service, vehicle type, and any additional services requested. Our rates are competitive and transparent, providing you with a clear understanding of the cost involved.

Billing and Invoicing: For corporate clients or individuals requiring detailed invoices for reimbursement or accounting purposes, we offer billing and invoicing services. Simply provide the necessary details during the booking process, and we will generate an invoice accordingly.

Additional Charges: In some cases, additional charges may apply based on specific requirements or circumstances. These charges could include tolls, parking fees, waiting time, extra stops, or surcharges for services during peak hours or holidays. Any additional charges will be clearly communicated and reflected in the final payment.

Cancellation and Refunds: If you need to cancel a reservation, please notify us within the specified cancellation period to avoid any cancellation fees. Refunds for cancellations will be processed according to our cancellation policy, which may vary depending on the service type and timing of the cancellation.

  • In the event that the driver arrives at the designated pick-up location and the customer is not present, and MRS Transfer is unable to locate or establish contact with the designated contact person within 60 minutes of the scheduled pick-up time, using the provided reservation contact details, the ride will be deemed a no-show and the reservation will be canceled. The customer will bear full responsibility and be held liable for 100% of the estimated cost.
  • Cancellations made within ten (10) working days will result in a charge equal to the Deposit payment and bank transaction fees.
  • For any cancellations made within ten (10) working days prior to the Date of Service, there will be a cancellation fee equivalent to the total amount of payments and deposits.
  • Deposit payments are not refundable.
  • Any charge associated with a cancellation is final and not transferable to future or alternative services.

The Client is required to submit a refund request within 7 calendar days from the date of cancellation. Failure to do so within this timeframe grants MRS Transfer the right to withhold the refund. Refunds will be processed via bank transfer or credit card, depending on the original method of purchase. Please note that it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure proper cancellation of the service. A written confirmation from MRS Transfer must be received to confirm the cancellation.

MRS Transfer shall not be held liable for any losses, damages, injuries, or order cancellations arising from circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to cancelled flights, road blocks, unforeseen delays, force majeure events, or activities of third parties.

Payment Security: We prioritize the security of your payment information. Our payment processing systems are compliant with industry standards and use encryption technology to safeguard your data.

5. Responsibilities of the Customer:

Providing Accurate Information: Customers should provide accurate and complete information at the time of booking, including the pickup location, drop-off location, date, and time. This helps MRS Transfer to plan and allocate resources effectively.

  • Timeliness: Customers should be punctual and ready for pick-up at the agreed-upon time. Being ready on time helps ensure that the entire transportation schedule stays on track and minimizes delays for other passengers or customers.
  • Safety and Conduct: Customers are responsible for their safety and the safety of others during the journey. They should follow all safety instructions provided by the driver or transportation company, including wearing seat belts, refraining from distracting or disruptive behavior, and adhering to any rules or regulations specific to the vehicle or service.
  • Luggage and Belongings: Customers are responsible for their luggage and personal belongings. They should ensure that their belongings are securely packed, properly labeled, and comply with any restrictions set by the transportation company. It is also important to take care of personal items during the journey and not leave valuables unattended.
  • Compliance with Laws and Regulations: Customers must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and customs during the journey. This includes but is not limited to adhering to traffic laws, respecting local customs and norms, and following any specific rules set by the transportation company.
  • Communication: Customers should maintain open and clear communication. This includes notifying MRS Transfer promptly of any changes to the reservation, such as changes in pick-up or drop-off locations or time adjustments. Effective communication helps avoid confusion and ensures a seamless experience.
  • Payment: Customers are responsible for paying the agreed-upon fare or charges for the ground transportation service in accordance with the payment policy of the MRS Transfer. Prompt and accurate payment helps maintain a fair and transparent business relationship.
  • Feedback and Reviews: Customers have the opportunity to provide feedback and reviews about their experience with MRS Transfer. Constructive feedback helps MRS Transfer to  improve its services and ensures a better experience for future customers.

6. Responsibilities of the MRS Transfer:

  • Safety: The foremost responsibility of MRS Transfer is to prioritize the safety of their passengers. MRS Transfer must adhere to all relevant safety regulations, maintain their vehicles in proper working condition, and ensure that their drivers are trained and qualified.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: MRS Transfer are responsible for regular maintenance and inspections of their vehicles. This includes routine servicing, addressing any mechanical issues promptly, and ensuring that vehicles are clean and comfortable for passengers.
  • Professional and Courteous Drivers: Drivers should have good communication and customer service skills, treat passengers with respect, and be familiar with the local area and routes.
  • Clear Communication: MRS Transfer should maintain clear and effective communication channels with their customers. This includes promptly responding to inquiries, providing accurate information about services and pricing, and notifying customers of any changes or delays.
  • Customer Service: MRS Transfer should prioritize customer satisfaction and address any issues or complaints promptly and professionally. This involves having a dedicated customer service team available to handle inquiries, feedback, and resolve any disputes.
  • Data Protection and Privacy: MRS Transfer must handle customer data responsibly and comply with applicable privacy laws. It should have measures in place to protect customer information from unauthorized access or disclosure.

MRS Transfer reserves the right to limit its own responsibilities according to the laws and regulations currently effective in Latvia.

MRS Transfer reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the Service for any reason, without notice, at any time. MRS Transfer reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, for any reason, at any time.

7. Liability and Insurance:

MRS Transfer highly recommend you to obtain appropriate international travel insurance valid during the entire stay in the country that you are visiting, providing necessary travel coverage including but not limited to return expenses, medical expenses, expenses arising out of cancellation and/or modification, loss of luggage, accident and repatriation. MRS Transfer shall not be liable whatsoever for any consequences that may arise out of your failure or negligence to obtain such insurance.

8. Force Majeure:

MRS Transfer does not accept any liability for any loss, inconvenience or damage caused by war, threat of war riot or civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural disaster, fires, sickness, weather conditions, airport regulations, temporary, technical, mechanical or electrical breakdown of transport or any facilities contained within advertised accommodation, explosion of any nuclear plant or part thereof or radioactivity/contamination arising from such plant or events beyond the reasonable control of MRS Transfer.

In case of technical or mechanical issues with the transportation MRS Transfer takes responsibility to contact their local partners which provide bus to settle the issue as soon as it is possible and replace the bus with different bus if it is needed. Bus replacement time depends on the distance that the new bus should cover.

9. Complains:

If you have any complaints, please inform us promptly to allow MRS Transfer to address the matter swiftly and effectively. Complaints made after the completion of the trip must be submitted in writing within one week or 7 days. Claims received after this deadline will not be considered. MRS Transfer assumes no liability for damages or losses beyond those that have been actually incurred and paid for by you. Furthermore, MRS Transfer shall not be responsible for any consequential damages, future damages, lost profits, missed opportunities, mental distress, or pain and suffering. Our liability is limited to the amount received from you, and MRS Transfer cannot compensate for any additional costs incurred by you.

Terms and conditions are governed by Latvian Law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Latvia Courts.
